IpupaK Grow Leadership Summit

Over the years, IpupaK Grow You remained committed to mentor and coach young professionals, women and the girl-child for optimum leadership capabilities. The program has seen numerous young Namibians benefitting from it. The tremendous growth and positive results are evident thus far.

To ensure sustainability, an annual “Young Professional Summit” has been initiated to bring together young professionals within the Erongo Region and the country at large, to launch its very first annual “Young Professionals Leadership Summit” under the theme “Positioning yourself for global relevance”, in Swakopmund, 30 October, in partnership with Momentum Namibia: Asset Management, Wealth and CIS.
According to its Founder, Ms Ipupa Kasheeta, the event will not only expand participants’ professional network but will also witness the launch of the book titled “The inclusive leader: Embracing diversity and employee engagement” by Ms Nosipho Damasane, which the IpupaK Grow You foundation played a supporting role during its drafting at the time when the world was on lock down in 2020 by creating plat-forms with the author on issues of leadership and challenges brought about by Covid-19 pandemic.

The Summit is designed to harness participants’ personal and professional development, as we bring speakers from different generations who will share their sentiments and experiences on how to lead and achieve sustained growth as an individual and as corporates. Talks will amongst others evolve around financial management, leader-ship of self, critical soft skills for professional excellence, positioning your institution and staff for global relevance, etc.

The IpupaK Grow You mentorship program is a non-profit-making initiative, and all efforts are done in the spirit of “what can I offer to my community” and to this end, our speakers/mentors have volunteered their time to speak at this maiden event at no cost.
