A very unusual cargo item was transported through the streets of Walvis Bay on Friday. The main fuselage of what was once a proud BAE 146, was transported by Walvis Bay Plant & Tool Hire to a film location where a reality show will be produced in the coming months.

The BAE-146 was produced by British Aerospace (now BAE systems) from 1983 to 2002. The aircraft had four turbofan engines and was mostly used by regional flight operators, inter-city flight operators and as private jets.
A spokesperson for Walvis Bay Plant & Tool Hire on Friday said the business cannot divulge any information of the destination of the aircraft fuselage, as the reality show producer wants to keep the wraps on any form of operational information regarding the intended reality show.
