Join Toastmasters in Walvis Bay

The Toastmasters movement was launched by Dr Ralph C Smedley in Santa Ana, California in 1924 with the object of developing the oral communication (public speaking) and leadership abilities of its members. Since then it has spread throughout the Western World and today boast with over 300 000 members.

Walvis Bay Toastmasters form part of this international movement and through the newly chartered club, the community of Walvis Bay will have the opportunity to ascertain communication and leadership skills with the support of a well proven education system and that of the Walvis Bay Toastmasters members.
Walvis Bay Toastmasters meets every second and fourth Monday of the month. Our meetings are generally held at Walvis Bay Learning Hub (c/o of Theo Ben Gurirab & Circumferential str.) and start at 18:15 for 18:30 till 21:00.
Walvis Bay Toastmasters conducts its meetings in English and the education material, which comes from the USA, is in English as well.
You are welcome to attend one or more meetings as a guest (there are no costs involved as a visitor) and once you are ready to challenge yourself to become a pioneer of your own destiny, you can join as a Walvis Bay Toastmaster, keeping in mind there is a cost of membership.
