Junior Golf

 

Coastal Junior Open 2018 and Final School Golf League were hosted at Rossmund Golf Club.
The Namibia Junior Golf Foundation selected a team of 8 junior players to participate in a training camp during December 2018 in George South Africa. The junior players that will participate in the training camp are Willie Els, Cilliers Sachse, Jonothan Mather, Charlie Lohmann, Janneman Brand, Erastus Ndakalako, Theuns Alberts and Henry Mudge.
The junior golf coaches Jaco van Reenen from Omeya golf club and Gert Olivier from Walvis Bay golf club will be accompanied them as they will gain valuable insight into each individual’s golf game.
The training camp will be conducted by the top South African National junior trainer Vallerie Holland.
The NJGF request all company’s and fellow golfers that will be willing to assist to dig deep in their hearts and pockets to help the future of Namibian Junior Golf.

Results of the International Tournaments for 2018
Henco Rieckert, Marthinus Marais, Janneman Brand and Cilliers Sachse respresented Namibia at the All Africa Junior Championships from 4-10 March in Morocco.
Willie Els from Walvis Bay represented Namibia in the prestigious British Junior Open from 17th to 19th July at St Andrews Scotland.
