Keep up the fight against Coronavirus

Eileen van der Schyff

Coastal residents are urged to continue in their efforts to minimise risk of Coronavirus infection.  Then also, a word of appreciation to everyone who are doing their part to maintain public hygiene for the good of Namibia.

These measures include washing hands regularly  during the day with soap, to use protection like tissue or hanker chiefs when sneezing or coughing and to regularly during the day clean public area surfaces like customer counters, cashier desks, ATM’s and the push handle of shopping trolleys with a proper detergent. Also, no spitting in public, to take sick leave when contracting a flu or cold and not to hesitate to consult a doctor should you start to feel symptoms like shortness of breath or other Pneumonia-like symptoms.
