Kobi Alexander jailed in the US

Mr Kobi Alexander, an Israeli citizen with significant business and property interests in Namibia (and the coast) was sentenced to 30 months imprisonment in the United States for a financial crime involving Securities. Alexander fled to Namibia some years ago from the United States. He returned to the United States late last year to face justice. It remains uncertain whether Alexander will be allowed to return to Namibia once he has served his sentence as he would have a criminal record for a financial crime.
