Koos Venter killed in freak car accident

Coastal residents reel in shock after the unexpected and tragic death in a car accident on Tuesday night of Mr Carl Frederick (Koos) Venter (57), the owner of Aluminium Werkstatt in Walvis Bay. Mr. Venter (pictured above with his wife Anna Maria) shortly after 20:00 on Tuesday drove with a light pick-up to the light industrial area to set the alarm at his business. Upon his return home, his vehicle collided head-on into a parked truck trailer in Hidipo Hamutenya Street. Mr Venter was killed on impact.
