KRC honour sponsors

Kudus Rugby Club (KRC) recently honour the businesses who contributed to the success of the KRC for 2018.

The chairman of the KRC Allister Carolissen said that that the club rely on the support from businesses to for the success of rugby at the coast as the thanked all the sponsors and handed a tokens of appreciation to all of them.
The club did not receive any travelling assistance from the Namibian Rugby Union (NRU) for the past four years but with the biggest contribution from Logistics Support Services the club manage to play their away games.
JDK Logistics indicated that they will donate 50 jackets to pro-mote uniformity among the players and officials at the club.
The four sets of jerseys were donated by Mare Fishing and Woermann Brock Hardware.
Omahooli Solutions representative Zane Jansen accolade that the company was proud to be associated with the club and the progress of the teams and that they will definitely on board for the upcoming season.
The vice chairman of KCR Donald de Koker, said the team spent nearly N$200 000 on transport, accommodation and meals for players for away games with N$95 000 used for the purchase of playing and warm-up gear.
The gate and kiosk fees generated an income of N$65 000 and N$59 000 respectively with a profit of N$36 000 and an additional N$26 000 was generated from the raffle.
The golf day that was hosted was a huge success as the day generated N$50 000. Plans are under way for the golf day to be-come an annual event.
Kudus Rugby Club made a total profit of N$72 000 for the 2018 rugby year. This is thanks to the continues support from Logistics Support Services, Mare Fishing, WB Hardware, Building Supplies, Omahooli Solutions, Desert Iron & Steel, JDK Logistix, Alettas Uniforms, Supa Marine Paints, J&P Hydraulics, Rio Copa and Plastic Packaging the fans and the Narraville community.
