Langstrand Beach Clean-up

The Beach Clean-up, organised by Eric’s Cove and Autohaus Swakopmund, made this day a huge success.

Langstrand residents and a team of Autohaus Swakopmund joined in a fun packed day filled with cleaning up while enjoying a relaxing walk on the beach. Residents were invited for drinks afterwards at Eric’s Cove. Eric’s Cove and Auto-haus Swakopmund would like to thank Coca Cola for sponsoring the ice cold refreshing Bonaqua bottled water, the Municipality of Walvis Bay for supplying the black bags. “Twelve refuse drums were placed all along the beach and residents and tourists alike are encouraged to make use of these drums.
The cleaning of the beach and dunes was done in preparation of the festive season which is upon us. We strive to show off our beautiful country to our guests and visitors. We urge residents as well as tourists to keep our desert and beaches clean. Please do not litter. Use the drums on the beach and dunes.
