Little change in Covid-19 rules – to last to 24 February 2021
Wearing of face masks: face masks in public places remain compulsory. The Ministry of Education Arts and Culture has issued comprehensive guidelines relating to the wearing of masks by children under the age of 5 years.
Public Gatherings: public gatherings remain capped at fifty people per event and no event may be lasting more than two hours.
Restriction of Movement (Curfew): the hours have been extended from 22:00 to 05:00 every day of the week.
Restrictions Relating to Liquor: this remains unchanged. Restaurants, bars, shebeens may still only sell alcohol between 10:00 and 20:00 from Monday to Saturday and no alcohol sales on Sun-days. Off-consumption outlets like liquor stores and supermarkets may sell alcohol between 09:00 and 18:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 till 13:00 on Saturdays.
This regulation is extended unchanged.
Business Hours: businesses are allowed to operate within their normal working hours, with adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
