Logan Pretorius and accomplices slapped with hefty fines

Walvis Bay residents Logan Pretorius, Sandra Riobo, Curven Vries and Ashley January were slapped with fines totalling N$52 000 after their conviction on three counts of kidnapping and assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The four were found guilty of the kidnapping and assault of three boys in 2014 whom they accused of having harmed Pretorius’ dogs. They locked the children in Pretorius’ Meersig home’s garage and there tortured them for hours.
For kidnapping they were each fined N$8 000 and for the assault conviction a further N$5 000 each.
