With a hop, skip and a jump, the Swakopmund Gymnastic Club (SGC) and the Dongina Risser Gymnastic Foundation (DRGF) is literally bouncing for joy.

A long-standing champion of gymnastics in Namibia, Ms. Valereis Geldenhuys recently donated a brand new double-mini trampoline and landing mats to the DRGF that is based at the Swakopmund Gymnastic club.
To compliment the double mini trampoline, the SGC rented a new tumble track from Namibian Gymnastics (NamGym) and DGFN arranged for the equipment to be installed during the first weekend of August.
Both pieces of equipment will be made available for national and international events.
Swakopmund Gymnastic Club is an artistic gymnastic club, offering training in all disciplines to both boys and girls, from beginners until advanced. With the arrival of the trampoline and tumble track SGC will now offer tumbling and double-mini classes.

If interested please do not hesitate to contact Swakopmund Gymnastic Club or visit us at the Dome in Swakopmund.
All members of the SGC and DRGF extend a heartfelt thanks to Ms. Geldenhuys, not only for the marvelous new equipment, but for her ongoing support and tireless work to improve Gymnastics in Namibia and also thanked NamGym for making this equipment available to the club.
