Mahindra launches at the coast today
Thanks to a joint venture by two established names in the Namibian vehicle trade, Spes Bona Motors and Crossroads Car Sales, this fastest growing auto brand in Namibia is launched on our doorstep in Swakopmund today.
In an interview yesterday Mr. Pieter Senekal (Spes Bona Group of Companies) and Mr Basie Oosthuizen (Crossroads Car Sales) shared their excitement over the joint venture.
Spes Bona Motors has the sole distributing rights of Mahindra in Namibia and the joint venture with Crossroads Motors brings this vehicle brand, parts and after sales service to the coast and also the greater Erongo region.
Spes Bona Motors brought the Mahindra brand back to Namibia four years ago. That was on the back of aggressive growth Mahindra experienced worldwide and closer to home in South Africa where it established a Mahindra semi-knocked down vehicle assembly plan in Durban and introduced a wider range of vehicle models to cater for various markets. Mahindra is known for its extended guarantees, highly competitive service plans and a commitment to high levels of after sales service.
Mr Pieter Senekal explained Spes Bona Motors took the Mahindra brand to higher heights in Namibia the past few years. Service centres are established countrywide and the models introduced into the Namibian market are relevant and competitive with other vehicle brands. It is especially the 2,2 Diesel “Pik Up” that skyrocketed in popularity.
Exciting deals are available on a wide range of Mahindra Models at CrossRoad Car Sales today. The sales manager Antionio Carew and his assistant Robert Awarab are ready to assist. Make sure you make a turn at Crossroads Car Sales and test drive the Mahindra part of your choice.
Spes Bona Motors services the Namibia vehicle market since 1975. From humble beginnings it grew to what we know today as Spes Bona Group of Companies with other leading brands under its wing: Spes Bona Rent a Car; Spes Bona Insurance Brokers; Spes Bona Auto Repairs; Spes Bona Property Brokers and Spes Bona Motors (Mahindra and Peugeot) and a second-hand vehicle sales division.
In the interview Mr Basie Oosthuizen said Crossroads Car Sales is now 25 years in the market and Mahindra adds something new.
Crossroads Car Sales has been focusing on second hand vehicles, particularly pick-ups and suv’s and in this sense Mahindra definitely complements its market.
