Man killed over bottle of wine

A 22-year-old man was killed when he was stabbed after grabbing a bottle of wine from two men sitting outside a bar on Saturday in Mondesa, Swakopmund.

The incident happened at around 22:40. Henry Henrico/Goagoseb was stabbed when he grabbed and tried to run with the bottle of Monis Granada. His friend Lovita Xoagub (20), allegedly ran away when this happened.
Police allege that when Xoagub returned to search for his friend, he was in-formed that his friend had been transported to the hospital. When he reached the hospital, Xoagub was further informed that his friend had been certified dead upon arrival at the hospital. Meanwhile police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder. The suspect is expected to appear in court this week. Investigations are ongoing.
