Massive motor vehicle carrier alongside

The roll-on roll-off (”ro-ro”) ship Glovis Stella is alongside in the port of today, to offload imported vehicles. The global second hand vehicle trade in Southern Africa, which mostly concentrates on neighboring Zambia and Zimbabwe, uses the port of Walvis Bay as point of import. From here vehicles are cleared and driven in convoy to these neighbouring countries.
