Mayor of Hentiesbay Christmas message
Dear Residents and Visitors
Christmas is upon us and we prepare to celebrate this special time of the year with our friends and family.
We persevered through a very tough, uncertain and unusual year. But here we are, nearing the end of 2020 and we are thankful for every healthy person, for every good gift we received and for every one of you that are able to enjoy your holidays in Hentiesbay, despite what you may have been through to make it a reality.
May you fully enjoy all we can offer to make your visit and festivities memorable, but may we ask that you do so with increased love and respect for our environment and for each other.
Like any other community we have rules to keep this wonderful town of us running smoothly and without trauma and tragedy, therefore I beg of you to adhere thereto with great responsibility.
May we keep in mind the less fortunate and extend a loving and helping hand wherever possible. To all Hentiesbay and to all our visitors, God bless you and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Mayor Lewies Vermaak
