Mensah-Williams on outreach visit

The entire Swakopmund Constituency community is invited to attend a very important outreach visit program by the Chairperson of the National Council, Ms Margaret Mensah-Williams which will take place on 15 July at the Multi-Purpose Centre in Mondesa at 09:00.

The main purpose of the visit is to enhance public participation in the law-making process. Mensah-Williams will also be explaining the functions of the National Council and how the public can get involved in the law-making process. The program will further give a platform to the community to discuss burning issues within the community and how they would want them to be addressed. It is also planned that the program will incorporate a youth theatre that will be acting on important issues affecting the youth today and possible solutions thereto. The same youth, if time allows will be used to dramatise the work of the National Council and why the youth should partake in the law-making process.
