Eileen van der Schyff

An employee of the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine resources shot himself in the head with his licensed pistol in the bathroom of his house on Wednesday 19 June.

It is alleged that Emmanuel Andjele (57), sent a text message to one of his colleagues at around 9:45. The message read: “Sorry to leave this way but I can’t take it longer, miss me but let me go.” Upon receiving this message, Anjele’s colleagues contacted the police. The police found Anjele laying in a pool of blood with a shot wound in the head.
