Möller murder gang in court again

The five men accused of killing well-known coastal businessman, Hans Jörg Möller, during an armed robbery in June 2016 made a next appearance in the Walvis Bay magistrates court on Thursday.

The case has been under review and could be transferred to the Erongo regional court. It was however, again postponed on Thursday pending this decision. Gotlieb Panduleni (30), David Tashiya (29), David Shekundja (35), Elly Ndapuka Hinavali (29) and Malakia Shiweda (28) remain in custody and will make a next court appearance on 24 October.
Möller, his spouse and their two young children were attacked by a gang of men in their home in Walvis Bay’s Paul Vincent Street on 17 June 2016. In the attack Mrs. Möller was severely assaulted and Mr. Möller was shot as he tried to defend his family. He died of the gunshot wound a day later on 18 June. Gotlieb Panduleni is accused of having pulled the trigger.
