More reason to be over the moon this Christmas

Holiday makers and coastal residents who are fortunate enough to have open, clear night skies on Christmas Eve must make an added effort to view the full moon rising. This is the first time in approxi-mately 38 years that full moon coincides with Christmas Eve. The sun will totally illuminate the moon at approximately 23:11.

The next full moon on Christmas is only due again for 2034. The picture was obtained from chickyboophotography.com
