More than 1 000 Namibians haven been vaccinated

More than one thousand people in the Khomas- and Erongo Regions have been vaccinated for Covid-19 to date. This was announced yesterday by Namibia’s health minister, Dr Kalumbi Shangula.
Khomas and Erongo were the epicentres in the Covid-19 outbreak, hence a decision to first introduce the vaccine in these two regions.
Dr Shangula described the first phase of vaccinations as a success. Health care workers were the first to receive the vaccine.
