MTC Sunshine to treat Boxing enthusiasts in Walvis Bay

The MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy will treat Boxing enthusiasts to an early Christmas present with the “Together as one Boxing Bonanza part 5” under the lights of the Kuisebmond Community Hall tomorrow, 4 December 2021.

The undercard will feature the likes of Max Ipinge, Andreas Amwenyo, Phillipus Shaanika, Martin Mukungu and many more.
The main bout of the night will be between Walvis Bay homeboy, Matheus ‘The Beast’ Heita and Zimbabwean Tinashe Mwadziwana for the WBO Pan Africa super bantamweight title over 12 rounds.
Sebastiunus Natanael will battle in an international featherweight bout over 10 rounds, while Maxi Ipinge fights Tinashe Zihove in a Super Middleweight fight over six rounds with Phillipus Shaanikaan other local attraction of the night that will squares off with Joseph Abel for the national Super Bantamweight title.
Martin Mukungu will face Immanuel Jason for the Featherweight belt, with Andreas Mwenyo fighting Lazarus Namalambo for the Bantamweight title.
Erastus Shapaka and Festus Simeon will open the fight night in a Flyweight bout over four rounds, while Marvin Nehemia clashes with Titus Nautumbo who will make his Featherweight professional debut.
Gerson Alweendo will face Lineekela Nghifindaka in a Junior Lightweight division. Elson Kalus Rafael Iita will battle in a Welterweight fight, while Andreas Shikongo fights David Haufiku will fight in a Junior Middleweight bout and Nestor Thomas will face Antoni Moses in a Bantamweight bout over four rounds.
Walvis Bay Mayor, Cllr. Trevino Forbes said the opportunity for the town to host the event is enormous, given the amount of talent that could be discovered at this event. He added that this too, will be good for business due to the revenue that will be generated during the event.
Forbes urges Walvis Bay residents to fully support the initiative. “It has been a while since we had an event of this magnitude. We know we can also host such events. We are looking forward to hosting this event.”
The mayor added that this will be a great opportunity for boxers of the town to showcase their talent in their home town. It will benefit the town and local businesspeople that can come out in numbers and sell their products to make some cash.
Nestor Tobias from the MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy said this is a chance to give these guys an opportunity to fight and become world champions.
“You have to fight certain fights to reach certain levels because the more fights you fight, the more quality fights. It is an important card with world-class fighters and one can only say that the fans will be treated,” Tobias said.
