N$960m dual lane road behind Dune 7

The two main roads between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund, the B2 highway and the MR44 behind the dunes, will both be transformed into dual-carriageway highways over the next three years. The groundbreaking ceremony for the N$960 million project was done yesterday by Alpheus !Naruseb, Minister of Works and Transport. “This in only one of the many infrastructure projects currently underway in Namibia and will contribute to the ultimate goal of transforming Namibia into the logistics hub of Southern Africa,” he said.
