NAMCOR Rally to hit Swakopmund

The powerful rally car engine roars will be echoing in the outskirt of Swakopmund tomorrow for the second leg of the Namibian National Rally Championships in the NAMCOR Rally.

Walvis Bay Motor Club (WBMC), in conjunction with National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (NAMCOR) and other local businesses, are hosting the NAMCOR Swakopmund Rally) under the auspices of the Namibian Motorsport Federation (NMSF).
All Pre-race activities will take place from 07:30 at the new NAMCOR Service Station in Swakopmund before the rally starts at 10:30.
Racing enthusiast can expect some epic rally action from 20 entered cars that will be in action in the S1, S2, S3, and S4 classes at the event with 8 various stages around Swakopmund.
There will be a few “spectator friendly” stages for all racing enthusiast to enjoy.
All spectators are requested to kindly use designated parking areas and spectator points as far as possible along the main road and stand in safe spectating positions. No alcohol is allowed at the event.
WBMC, NAMCOR and NMSF value the lives of all road users, so please take caution when parking next to the main road towards Windhoek and refrain from making a U-turn onto the main road as it this could cause an accident.
The NAMCOR Swakopmund Rally ends at about 15:07 at the Swakopmund Go Kart Racetrack.
All Spectators are requested to adhere all Covid-19 regulations.
