Namibia lost in Russia

The Namibia Rugby team lost 20-47 against a dominated and strong Russia team in their first of three rugby test matches on their European tour.
The Russian that dominated from the start has set up a 19-6 half time lead as they run in three tries. Poor tackles from the Namibian cost them the game and they could not breach Russia’s defense.
The Russians won the forward battle, scoring some tries with impressive driving mauls, while they also displayed some fine running rugby with their backs scoring four of the seven tries.

The Namibia’s try scorers were TC Kisting and Darryl de la Harpe with PW Steenkamp successful with the conversions and Cliven Loubser added two penalties.

This was the first match of series of three matches scheduled for their European tour. The second game are scheduled for 17 November against and on 24 November they will tackle Portugal for the final match of their European tour.
