Namibia vs Springboks in far-away Japan

The Rugby World Cup clash between Namibia and South Africa on Saturday is going to be a tough battle. Namibia is going into battle with ten changes to the team that faced Italy last Sunday, making it the second biggest change to the team. In the 2015 Rugby World Cup the coach made 11 changes to the Namibian team for a world cup match against Argentina.

Captain Tjiuee Uanivi, Cliven Loubser, JC Greyling, pictured, Chad Plato, and Johan Tromp are the players left in the team that played Italy last Sunday. Tomorrow’s match will be Namibia’s second ever world cup game against the Springboks.
The first was in 2011 when the Springboks beat Namibia 87-0. (In 2007 Namibia played the Springboks in a world cup warm-up game which the South African side won 105-13.
Namibia opened the 2019 Rugby World Cup with a match against Italy with a 47-22 defeat.
The Namibian team for tomorrow is: Desiderius Sethie, Louis van der Westhuizen, AJ De Klerk, Johan Retief, Tjiuee Uanivi (Captain), Thomasau Forbes, Muharua Katjijeko, Adriaan Booysen, Eugene Jan-tjies, Cliven Loubser, Lesley Klim, Peter John Walters, JC Greyling, Chad Plato and Johan Tromp. The reserves are: Obert Nortjé, André Rademeyer, Johannes Coetzee, Prince Gaoseb, Janco Venter and Wian Conradie.
