Namibia wins T20 series

Namibia’s national senior women’s cricket team was by far the stronger team as they beat visiting Botswana women’s team 5-0 in seven T20 matches.

The two neighbouring countries had to kick off for the first two T20 matches at the United field last Sunday, but rainy weather prevented a single ball from being bowled.
All five games were played at the United field. The Namibians beat the visitors on day two with 50 runs a seven-wicket jogging run by scoring 51 runs for only three wickets in 6.3 overs.
On Tuesday, the Namibians batted first and scored a good 161/4 which put an impossible win to the neighbours. The host team continued to roll and captain Yasmeen Khan and her teammates nod Botswana for 73 runs to win with 88 runs.
The fifth clash was also completed on Tuesday with visitors batting first.
The Namibian’s bowling attack limited Botswana to 58/7 with 77 balls left. Namibia won the game comfortably with nine wickets after they reached the 59 runs 7.1 over’s.
Wednesday the last two games were played with Namibia beating Botswana 162/1-86 runs and 163/8-88 runs in 20 over’s respectively.
