Namibian Children and Junior Show Jumpers excel

The Namibian Children and Junior show Jumpers excelled at the recent Namibian Show Jumping Championships 2021 at the oldest Horse-Riding Club in the country, the Reit Club Okahandja in Okahandja.

The 15-year-old Swakopmund rider, Carmen Piepmeyer on her horse, Fleur De Lys Bella was crowned the 2021 Namibian Junior Show jumping Champion.
The 14-year-old Taria Britz from Otjiwarongo is the Reserve Champion for 2021 with Seeis Mon Gold after winning the silver medal.
The Namibian Children Jumping Cham-pion of 2021 is the 14-year-old Bianca Woker from Swakopmund with her newly acquired steed, Assegai Scandal who is no stranger to Namibian riders. Scandal has competed successfully with her previous owner and rider Jayd Bassi-Hanssen.
Reserve Show-Jumping Champion of 2021 and Namibian Dressage Champion 2021 in the Children’s division, is the 13-year-old Alyssa Hopking and her Namibian bred horse Seeis Minsuelo from Swakopmund.
The Children and Junior Show Jumping Champions will be in action during the third leg of the FEI JUMPING WORLD CHALLENGE, where they will try to qualify for the 2022 Youth Equestrian Games from 3 to 5 December at the Reiterverein in Swakopmund. Entrance to this event is free for everyone to enjoy very good sport with the whole family.
