Namibians at UAEJJF

Lesley !Hoaëb , Giano Alcock and Delano Müller from Sylvio Behring Jiu Jitsu academy in Walvis Bay Namibia will attend the (UAEJJF) United Arab Emirates Jiu Jitsu National Pro Championships – GI (with Kimono) on 1-2 December 2018 in Johannesburg South Africa.

The South African National Pro Championship is part of the UAEJJF World Ranking and Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Qualifying series. The championship is open to all Nationalities and belts and caters for all age groups.
South Africa, Brazil, Angola, Namibia, Japan and DR Congo attended the previous UAEJJF National Pro Championships that were held in February 2018 in Johannesburg South Africa.
Lelsey and Delano competed in June 2018 in an international Jiu Jitsu championship in the USA and Brazil. The two Namibians dominated as they made history as they were the first African Jiu Jitsu students that won at international Jiu Jitsu championships. In Brazil at the Azambuja International championships both students won gold and at the Gladiator International championships Delano won silver and Lesley bronze. At the Battle of Atlanta in the USA both students won gold in the Jiu Jitsu championships.
