New rubbish bins installed

Residents of Walvis Bay will soon see brightly coloured concrete rubbish bins being installed across town. Workers of the municipality is seen here in Sam Nujoma Avenue offloading one of the bins.
Once offloaded, the bins will receive a concrete floor inside. These concrete bins are replacing the traditional plastic bins mounted on metal poles. These type of bins are not durable.
The concrete bins will have a long lifespan and save the local authority money.
