NSAA National Trials Angling championships

The Namibia Surf Angling Association (NSAA) hosted the Namibian National Trials Angling championships at various fishing zones along the Namibian coast over the Independence weekend.

Over 150 affiliated anglers participated in the National 3 day competition.
Henties Bay Angling Club, with a total weight of 754.9kg are the winners of National Trials Angling championships with Penguin Angling Club with a total weight of 722.8kg in second place and Orca Angling Club in third, with a total weight of 655kg.
All the fish that were caught were measured and returned to the water as quickly as possible.
The National team will be announced at a later date.
