Omsic winner of winners

Walvis Bay Golf Club was the host of the Omsic winner of winners Tournament.

Emile Vilbert Snr and Bossie Bosman both finished on 22 stableford points in the Winner of Wednesday Winners competition, sponsored by Omsic with Emile Vilbert the winner on a count-out. Herman Neethling is this year’s Winner of Saturday Winners with an excellent 70 Nett whiles Wilma van der Merwe and Frans Grobler both on 72 Nett as they finished second and third respectively. Congratulations also to Pieter Heunis on his first place in the Winner of Losers section with a 76 Nett.
Quinten van Wyk, our sponsor for the day, handed out the prizes and promised to sponsor this com-petition again in 2019.
Walvis Bay Golf Club had a club sponsored Individual Bogey Plus competition and with most of the players away playing in the Rossmund Open 25 braved players participated in the very strong wind. Wilma van der Merwe finished first with +3, Frans Grobler second with +2 and Thomas Wolff +2.
We look forward to hosting all the Sages from all over Namibia for two days of great golf and good camaraderie on 14 and 15 December.
