Parliament’s Mensa-Williams visits Möller widow

The Chairperson of the National Council, Mrs. Margareth Mensah-Williams, on Friday paid a courtesy visit to Mrs Carol-Anne Möller, widow of the Walvis Bay businessman Mr Hans Jörg Möller who was fatally shot during a home invasion and armed robbery in the couple’s harbour town home last week.
Möller died some 36-hours after he was shot by one of a gang of six armed robbers at 01:20 on 17 June. Five of the suspects had already been arrested by the Namibian Police in connection with the incident which fetched international news headlines and also mobilised thousands of Namibians in a campaign to prevent all murder suspects in future from being bailed. Unconfirmed reports are the alleged shooter has been out on bail at the time of the Möller-attack.
Mrs Mensah-Williams was accompanied by local spiritual leaders Mrs Rose Langenhoven (closest to the lens) and Mrs Jenny Nolan (third from left) for the visit to the Möller residence. Mrs Möller is seen on the right, her facial injuries still visible where the intruders mercilessly assaulted her during the home invasion.
