Police don’t buy Green’s explanation for cannabis

Cheryl Antoinette Green (pictured above) remains in custody after she was refused bail recently on charges of the possession of cannabis and cannabis plants, found during a search of her Kramersdorf residence at Swakopmund recently. Despite a public outcry trying to support her excuse that she uses cannabis as a natural remedy to treat an illness her husband suffers from, investigators made it clear this week: any form of possession of cannabis, cannabis plants and any extract from cannabis is illegal and you will meet the full might of the law. Green returns to court on 20 March.
