PSS Big Walk

Held on Saturday, 2 February at Langstrand in Swakopmund, Private School Swakopmund’s’ Big Walk was a great success. The High school, Senior Primary and Junior primary phases of the school participated in the family event themed, “Funky Shoes”.

Nicolai Hilbert and Corinna Weimann completed their 14km walk in a time of 52:27 and 58:12 respectively
Mati Laporte, Sophie Meyer, Jenna Gilchrist completed the 14km walk with respective times of 58:12, 1:33:27, 1:33:40.
From the Junior Primary phase, Daniel de Wet, Dominique Egner and Tulipamwe Kadhila also completed the 14km distance with impressive times of 1:35 for Daniel and Dominique. Tulipamwe completed the walk in 2:13.
Also, in the junior phase, Dylan Coetzer and Ember Potgieter took on the 8km walk with times of 48:21 and 1:33. The 4km distance was taken on by Dylan Brough and Anna von Wietersheim with times of 17:53 and 38:15.
