Rapist commits suicide by hanging

Omatjete: A man who was on the run from the Police after raping his niece, committed suicide.

Elia Tjipaha Muheua (30) committed suicide by hanging. His body was found hanging from a tree. He used a wire to hang himself. The suicide must have taken place either on Monday or Tuesday.
Information received by the Erongo crime investigating coordinator Erastus Iikuyu, the deceased was a wanted person and was on the run after he allegedly raped his niece on Sunday as per Omatjete CR04/10/18.
