The Ministry of Finance’s Department of Inland Revenue in Erongo is hosting a series of taxpayer education days across the region on 15 June, as part of its mission to promoting tax compliance among Namibians and to enhance taxpayers’ knowledge of the different taxes administered by the Receiver of Revenue.

Similar taxpayers education days have been hosted in the past with highly successful results.
“During this time officials from the Inland Revenue Department will be available in mobile teams to assist the general public on all inquiries relating to tax. Therefore, taxpayers are encouraged to bring their tax forms and employees’ tax certificates to be guided on how to do a self-assessment,” the Department of Inland Revenue said in an official letter.
