Red Devils takes the Pool Christmas Cup home

The Red Devils team on Saturday walked away with a Floating Christmas Cup, six glass gold medals and N$2000 cash prize after they defeated Khomas Snipers in the final round of the Christmas Cup Pool Competition in Swakopmund.

The winning team also received a voucher worth N$6000 to be used at a Pick ‘n Pay Shopping Centre and six crates of Windhoek Draught. Khomas Snipers was the runner up and also received a trophy, six glass silver medals and N$1000 cash prize plus N$3000 and six crates of Windhoek Draught. Nakatas received the third place prize of six bronze medals plus N$500 cash prize and N$1200 shopping voucher and six crate of Windhoek Draught. Marlon Jenniker of Red Devils was awarded the man of the match award while Coastal Giants who lost against Rigid Maintenance on third-/fourth playoffs received the award for best dress team. Last year during the first ever Christmas Cup Pool Competition, the Namibian Lubrications System won.
