Remains found at Uis that of missing man

The skeletal remains were found of near Uis on Tuesday. The remains are now believed to be that of George Gurirab (44) who has been missing since 17 March last year.

The discovery of the remains was made by a community member. The remains were found scattered in die field about 16 km South East of Uis.

Clothes found near the remains corresponds with the description of the clothes Gurirab was wearing at the time of his disappearance. Gurirab’s family was informed.
