Residents witness man struggling in Mole rough seas

Eye witnesses at the Mole in Swakopmund told the Namib Times they watched in horror as a young man swam out into the sea and struggled to get back to shore as the massive waves and strong currents sucked him back out to sea on Wednesday this week.

“It took the man very long to get back to shore, but he managed that on his own”, said one resident. A team of medical personnel was called to the beach to make sure the man was fine.
