Rhema to take coast by storm

Rhema will be taking the stage by storm along with various local artists on Sunday, at 15:00 at the Narraville Community Hall.

The talented musician, who is on his first trip to Namibia, has a vision with his shows in the country. He wants to build relationships with the country’s music industry and wants this to become an annual event.
In the last days before his show he was out raising awareness for his upcoming performance on Sunday.
Rhema was a very popular contestant on South African Idols 2015, season 11. He reached it to the top 3, but was eliminated. He nonetheless had a huge following and gathered 11.6 million votes.
After Idols 2015 Rhema’s music career took off.
“Idols itself was a rollercoaster ride, some weeks you were on top when other weeks you were completely drained. It taught me a lot. Idols made me a stronger person and it showed me what the music industry is about. I’ve been doing music for a year now, full-time. I’m enjoying it very much.
I want to invite everyone out to the show on Sunday and a big thanks to the Walvis Bay Mayor for making the venue available as well as Lloyd, Ronald, Larry and Danny for joining me on this journey”, Rhema said during a visit to the namib times office this week.
Some more on Rhema during Idols, Season 11: “Rhema you look and sound like an Idol” was the comments of the Idols Season 11 Judge Somizi, and: “Rhema you are unique you sound like no one else in this competition you have separated yourself from the herd”, said Idols judge Gareth. Another judge Randall compared him with the greatest artist that South Africa has delivered.
The only female judge on the panel, Ms Unathi was swallowed up in joyful tears of admiration when she heard and saw Rhema for the first time. But this unexplainable crying was reportedly a common experience in households across South Africa every Sunday when Rhema performed.
Rhema changed the idols experience into a weekly Sunday special.
Ben Hayno a super star from Britian and some radio dj’s and broad based comments on social media compared Rhema to the likes of Chris Brown.
