Road over-rail bridge now open to public

The small part of the road in Swakopmund at Sam Nujoma Avenue which was closed off in April last year because of rehabilitation of the road over-rail bridge is now open to the public.

The bridge was observed to be damaged and distressed which necessitated immediate rehabilitation as a safety measure. The road was closed at the beginning of the bridge, at the intersection of Aukas Street and Sam Nujoma Street and at the traffic circle near Truck Port Engine Service Station…
