Robbers leave elderly Henties Bay woman “for dead” in her home

An elderly woman of Henties Bay was seriously assaulted and left for dead in her home by unknown attackers on Tuesday night.

The thugs broke into the house of Mrs Elrose Liebenberg and apart from brutally assaulting her, they stole a purse and a cell phone.
A worker arrived at Mrs Liebenberg’s home on Thursday morning. He knocked but she did not answer the door. Later in the day he discovered a broken window. He alerted her family and very soon the Namibian Police and G4S was on the scene.
They discovered the badly beaten Mrs Liebenberg in the hallway.
She was able to communicate, but soon after that lost consciousness.
She was rushed to the Swakopmund MediClinic.
