Rotary Club fund raiser

The Rotary Club will have a fund raising golf tournament tomorrow at the Walvis Bay Golf Club. This will be for the first time that a fund raiser will be held on a Wednesday. For more information contact Carlos at the club. It will be a 13h00 shotgun start.

Members and players on the course need to please make themselves aware of the new penalty areas as well to please note that the reeds on the right hand side of 8/17 are now out of bounds areas. Remember that the ‘drop’ is now from you knee and not ankle or shoulder. If you drop from anywhere other than your knee there are penalty shot/s involved.
We have finalised the club calendar for the year ahead and there are still three slots open for sponsors to sponsor a day. If you would like to get involved or know of someone who would like to/can sponsor please come back to the club to fix a date.
We are trying to get the sages up and running. The Sages golf is on each first Sunday in the month which makes 3 February as the first one. Tee off will be at 8h00 and there will be a nine hole comp for those who can only join after 10h00/10h30.
Our local Sages will be holding an AGM [free drinks all night while the meeting is on and jerry will supply samosas and koeksisters. Please watch this space for a date and time. Please make an effort to attend.
