Rugby day in aid of coach

Kudu Rugby club held a fundraising rugby day at the Narraville Rugby stadium in aid of their former rugby coach Graham “Fanco” Swartz who recently underwent an operation.

The first game of the day saw the under 15 rugby team of De Duine Secondary School demolish the under fifteens of Swakopmund Secondary School 74-0 with the game between the under nineteen’s was full of action with De Duine Secondary School trashed the boys from SSS 57-3 in a one-side game.
Sparta and Dolphins rugby clubs did not turn-up for their games against Kudus 2 and the Erongo Rugby Academy (ERA). Kudus 2 and ERA then entertained the spectators with nice running rugby with Kudus 2 the winners of the game with the final score 31-17.
The last game of the day between Kudus 1 and Vikings from Swakopmund was huge with the harbour town men won the game 50-14.
This coming weekend ERA will play at home against Vikings in a Namibian Rugby Union’s First Division league match and Kudus 1 and 2 will take lock horns with Windhoek based Trustco United in a Premier and Reserve league games. All the games will be at the “House of Pain” in Narraville.
