SA Express hopes the worst is over

A source close to the operations of SA Express said this week he is confident delayed or cancelled flights between Johannesburg and Walvis Bay is over. A shortage of airplanes the past few weeks resulted in frustrating flight delays and cancellations.
“SA Express had no choice but operate with a reduced schedule as several planes were in for repairs. Available SA Express planes had to fill in and help all flying routes in and around South Africa. This caused flights from Johannesburg to Walvis Bay delayed and even cancelled at some stages”, it was explained.
Meanwhile, flight delays also plague Namibia’s national air carrier, Air Namibia, which currently battles the perfect storm of a cash crunch and grounded planes.
