Santa Shoe Box a huge success

After the last minute change to the venue, it was evident that the Walvis Bay community stayed committed. All donors, some as far as from Swakopmund, made it to the drop off point. In time and ready to make this important difference.

“I could not have done this without the wonderful Santa Shoebox volunteer team,” said Alexes Taylor, who worked so hard to make sure everything was in place.
“Thank you Miranda, Denise, Sidney, Summer, Deidre and Robin as well as all the other people and institutions that supported this. Committed companies like African Union Cargo count among the biggest donors. Then also WBM Chartered Accountants who stayed true to the project yet again. Consistent support is very important to make the difference every year.
I am grateful to each and every individual donor, without you, the Santa Shoebox Project would not be a success. Thank you also to MPact Walvis Bay, who sponsored all the boxes and cartons for the project. This made it so much easier for the public and the Project overall. All the beneficiaries will be receiving your specially wrapped boxes made with love and care in the course of the next two weeks”, Taylor concluded.
