Second collision between trains and vehicles in Walvis Bay in a matter of days

A delivery truck belonging to Wesbank Transport was involved in a collision with a train in the light industrial area yesterday.

This is the second collision between vehicles and a train in Walvis Bay in a matter of days. On Friday a vehicle was hit by an oncoming train on the Hannah Mupetami railroad crossing.
TransNamib yesterday upon inquiries confirmed the incidents and extended a renewed warning for motorists to be extra careful at railroad crossings and to adhere to traffic signals.
