Shacks and vendor stalls burn down

Three shacks and a number of informal trade stalls burned down in Kuisebmond over the weekend. The local authority fire brigade is yet to establish the cause of the fires. No injuries occurred, but people lost their belongings.

The three shacks burned down at 128 Khomas Hochland Street in Kuisebmond. The fire originated in a shack which had no occupants. The fire spread to two adjacent shacks.
On Sunday night vendor stalls burned down in Sam Nujoma Avenue in Kuisebmond.
