Showcase village brings divide among the ovaHimba

In cultures worldwide a traditional village is the most vivid sign of unity and common purpose. A cultural village of the ovaHimba at Swakopmund had  exactly the opposite effect – it has become a source of division among the ovaHimba people living at Swakopmund, it has spurred in-fighting over leadership and there are accusations of greed and self interest.
